Description:

  • Jobgether is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a remote position in Brazil, Argentina, or Mexico.
  • The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure, primarily focusing on AWS and Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
  • Responsibilities include managing scalable systems, automating processes, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines.
  • The engineer will collaborate closely with developers to ensure infrastructure supports seamless software delivery.
  • Key accountabilities include designing and managing AWS infrastructure, automating management with IaC tools, maintaining monitoring tools, implementing CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and enforcing security best practices.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or similar roles.
  • Extensive experience with AWS, particularly EKS, is required.
  • Strong proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and automation best practices is necessary.
  • In-depth knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Zabbix, and Sentry is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like FluxCD, AWS CodePipeline, and GitHub Actions is required.
  • A strong understanding of networking, security, and high-availability systems is needed.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for working in cross-functional teams.
  • Candidates must be able to work US hours.
  • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps, DevOps) are a plus.
  • Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and modern DevSecOps practices is preferred.
