Description:

Jobgether is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to work remotely in Europe.
The role involves building and maintaining cloud infrastructure for CI/CD pipelines and production services.
You will collaborate with software engineers, other DevOps professionals, and cross-functional teams to ensure systems are automated, reliable, and scalable.
Your contributions will enhance the performance and efficiency of the platform, ensuring high availability and seamless integration for development and production environments.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing cloud infrastructure, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting production issues, participating in on-call rotations, mentoring junior engineers, and documenting DevOps processes.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer in a production environment, focusing on high availability and redundancy.
A solid understanding of Linux systems and network fundamentals is required.
Proven experience with managed cloud services (AWS or GCP preferred) is necessary, including knowledge of compute, network, storage, and databases.
Expertise in containers and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm is essential.
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), preferably using Terraform or Terragrunt, is required.
Strong proficiency with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/OpenSearch is needed.
Candidates should have experience with CI/CD pipeline development, particularly with GitHub Actions and self-hosted runners.
Strong shell scripting skills and familiarity with a high-level programming language like Python or Go are necessary.
Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments is required.
