Description:

• Buoy Software is focused on reimagining the blood-product donation and collection experience through technology and design.

• As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will design and maintain the infrastructure for the blood-product donation platform.
• Responsibilities include implementing scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure solutions, working on both new projects and improving existing systems.
• You will collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes and enhance system reliability.
• The position is fully remote, open to candidates based in the United States, and does not offer visa sponsorship.

Requirements:

• A strong foundation in Linux systems administration and command-line operations is required.
• Candidates must have a solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and firewall configuration.
• Extensive experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker, is necessary.
• Proven expertise with Kubernetes, including cluster management and deployment strategies, is required.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI is essential.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform, is needed.
• Familiarity with GitOps workflows for infrastructure and application deployment is required.
• Understanding of security best practices across the DevOps lifecycle is necessary.
• Experience with monitoring and observability solutions for infrastructure and applications is required.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their native DevOps tooling is essential.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex systems are required.
• Experience automating routine operational tasks through scripting (Bash, Python, etc.) is necessary.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with development teams is essential.
