The position is for a Senior DevOps Engineer at ZigZag Global, a remote role based in the UK.
The role is permanent and full-time, requiring candidates to have the right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.

The Senior DevOps Engineer will join a small, distributed DevOps Team and work closely with the Platform team to design, implement, maintain, and support the infrastructure and application architecture for ZigZag’s SaaS product hosted in Microsoft Azure.
Key responsibilities include managing infrastructure, implementing CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, monitoring and logging, security and compliance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Extensive experience in a DevOps or infrastructure engineering role is necessary.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture is essential.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is required.
A good understanding of helm and GitOps tools like ArgoCD and Flux is needed.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python is necessary.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI is required.
Practical experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus is essential.
A solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance principles is necessary.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are required.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for effective teamwork.
