Description:
- The Senior DevOps Engineer (SCE) will be responsible for ensuring high availability and stellar performance of the digital advertisement SaaS suite.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and engineering teams to provide reliable solutions using AWS and Kubernetes.
- Monitor system health, optimize performance, and improve reliability of software solutions.
- Gather and analyze metrics for performance tuning and fault finding.
- Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning.
- Create sustainable systems through automation and uplifts while balancing feature development speed and reliability.
Requirements:
- Must have 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or DevOps Engineer.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes with Helm, Docker, and AWS.
- Ability to program in multiple high-level languages like TypeScript, Rust, Python, etc.
- Extensive experience with Application Performance Monitoring tools like DataDog, Kibana, etc.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture using distributed message brokers such as Apache Kafka, AWS SQS/SNS, etc.
- Familiarity with dynamic resource management frameworks like Kubernetes, Terraform, etc.
- Problem-solving attitude, team spirit, and proactive approach to identifying performance bottlenecks.
- Basic understanding of tools and pipelines in the NodeJS/NPM ecosystem.
- Preferred: AWS and/or Kubernetes certifications.
