Description:
Spearhead the migration process from on-premises to Azure Cloud, meticulously assessing both environments, anticipating potential hurdles, and crafting a robust migration plan, with a keen focus on cost efficiency.
Manage the configuration, deployment, and administration of the Azure environment, ensuring optimal cost management.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and operations, to ensure a seamless transition and address any technical challenges encountered during migration.
Implement and refine CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IAC using Terraform), and other automation frameworks to streamline migration and ongoing Azure environment management.
Maintain stringent adherence to security best practices, ensuring Azure environment configurations meet all necessary compliance standards.
Establish monitoring protocols, alerts, and proactive troubleshooting mechanisms to swiftly identify and resolve performance or reliability issues within the Azure environment.
Document the migration process comprehensively, along with configurations and best practices for the AKS environment, providing invaluable resources for the team and future reference.
Requirements:
Extensive experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a proven record of successfully executing complex infrastructure migration projects.
In-depth knowledge of Azure environments, encompassing containerization, orchestration, Kubernetes, and cloud services.
Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills are indispensable, given the collaborative nature of the role and the need for meticulous documentation.
Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub CI/CD), infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud environments, encompassing network configuration, access controls, and encryption.
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical challenges.
Ability to lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
