Description:
DoseSpot is a PE-backed start-up and a leader in the electronic prescribing software market, seeking a Senior DevOps Networking Engineer.
The role is remote and full-time, focusing on improving healthcare experiences through innovative software solutions.
The engineer will design, configure, and manage cloud network infrastructure, including Virtual Networks (VNet) peering, private endpoints, route tables, network security groups (NSGs), and VPNs.
Responsibilities include implementing and maintaining cloud-based firewall policies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting network connectivity issues, and managing CI/CD pipelines.
The engineer will automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and monitor system performance for high availability.
The role requires staying current with industry trends and providing technical guidance to junior team members.
Scheduled on-call support for cloud infrastructure and participation in scrum ceremonies are also part of the responsibilities.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
Candidates must have at least 8 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, Cloud Engineer, or Cloud Networking Engineer.
A strong understanding of networking concepts and experience with network configuration and management is essential.
Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is required.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is necessary.
Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell are needed.
Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are a plus.
