Remote Senior DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer

Description:

As a Senior DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer at Divio, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall performance, security, cost-effectiveness, and reliability of the cloud infrastructure.
You will manage the entire software development life cycle, create robust solutions following security and engineering principles, monitor and improve the system, automate manual tasks, respond to client queries, and participate in the on-call rotation.
The recruitment process at Divio consists of three steps: a short meeting to get to know each other, a technical interview, and a final administrative meeting to discuss salary and contract details.

Must have expertise in configuration management softwares like Ansible and Terraform, Docker, IaaS providers, Cloud Native Technologies (AWS, Azure), Linux system administration, and TCP/IP network stack.
Important expertise in backing services such as PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch, programming languages like Python, scripting languages like Bash and Python, and Git.
Nice to have experience with Django or other Python-based web frameworks, other cloud providers like Google Cloud, and knowledge of Kubernetes.
Core competencies include professionalism in client interactions, reliability, ability to work independently, teamwork skills, proficiency in English, and eagerness to learn and improve.
