Description:
Protegrity is seeking a passionate and talented Senior Software Engineer to join the R&D DevOps Team.
The role involves implementing and managing the DevOps approach within the organization, bridging the gap between development and operations teams.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, Docker, Ansible, and Terraform.
The individual will define and set development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations.
Collaboration with development and operations teams is essential to identify and address bottlenecks in the software development lifecycle.
The role requires troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application development, deployment, and operations.
The candidate will automate, manage, and optimize the deployment and infrastructure of applications on public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Monitoring and managing infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability is a key responsibility.
The individual should be able to lead platform upgrades/migrations independently and manage stakeholders while mentoring junior software developers.
Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance the software infrastructure is expected.
Requirements:
A BE/ME/MCA or any other degree in a related field or equivalent is required.
The candidate should have 6-9 years of relevant DevOps experience.
Hands-on experience with various DevOps concepts and tools such as Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Artifactory/Nexus is necessary.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible is required.
Practical experience in building, designing, and maintaining cloud-based applications with AWS, Azure, and GCP is essential.
The candidate should have hands-on experience with container and container orchestration tools like Docker, AWS ECS, and Kubernetes.
Strong knowledge of Shell Scripting and programming languages such as Python, Ruby, or Java is required.
Experience implementing monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana for infrastructure monitoring is necessary.
The candidate should have experience working on Linux-based infrastructure.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Data Protection, Privacy, and Security domains, databases and SQL, and an understanding of agile methodologies and principles.
