Description:
Spearhead the migration journey from on-premises infrastructure to the Azure Cloud, meticulously navigating both environments, anticipating challenges, and crafting a comprehensive migration blueprint focused on cost-efficiency.
Lead the configuration, deployment, and management of the Azure environment, prioritizing cost optimization while ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
Forge strong partnerships with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and operations, ensuring seamless transitions and swift resolution of technical hurdles throughout the migration process.
Drive the implementation and refinement of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IAC with Terraform), and automation frameworks to streamline migration activities and ongoing Azure environment management.
Uphold stringent security standards, meticulously configuring the Azure environment to meet compliance requirements and safeguarding against potential threats.
Establish robust monitoring mechanisms, alerts, and proactive troubleshooting protocols to swiftly detect and mitigate performance or reliability issues within the Azure infrastructure.
Thoroughly document the migration process, configurations, and best practices for the AKS environment, serving as a valuable resource for the team and future endeavors.
Requirements:
Demonstrated expertise as a DevOps Engineer, with a proven track record of orchestrating successful migrations of complex infrastructures.
In-depth knowledge of Azure environments, encompassing containerization, orchestration, Kubernetes, and a comprehensive understanding of cloud services.
Exceptional proficiency in written and verbal English communication is essential, given the collaborative nature of the role and the need for meticulous documentation.
Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub CI/CD), infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) to drive automation initiatives.
Sound understanding of security best practices in cloud environments, including network configurations, access controls, and encryption protocols.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical challenges encountered during the migration process.
Ability to lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment conducive to professional development.
