Remote Senior DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer - Client Infrastructure (full time)

Description:

• Join Divio as a Senior DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer, focusing on client infrastructure in a remote, multi-cultural team.
• Manage and evolve AWS infrastructure supporting around a hundred high-availability websites, ensuring security and performance.
• Collaborate with the Engagement team to create robust solutions, maintain architecture, and respond to client requests.
• Design, develop, and maintain client-specific infrastructure with an emphasis on security, stability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Deliver AWS and TypeScript-based solutions, including AWS Lambda, AWS CodePipeline, and AWS DynamoDB.
• Provide on-call support and proactively address potential issues through monitoring and support duty rotation.
• Collaborate with internal and client teams, sharing knowledge and communicating effectively.

Requirements:

• Must have strong proficiency with TypeScript and modern JavaScript concepts, including safe typing and asynchronous programming.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, CloudFront, Lambdas, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch.
• Familiarity with AWS CDK using TypeScript and understanding of TCP/IP network stack and web-related protocols.
• Important experience integrating APIs with Storyblok and familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Nice to have experience in Python (ideally Django), Linux system administration, and familiarity with other IaaS providers like Azure.
• Familiarity with backing services such as Postgres, Redis, RabbitMQ, and Elasticsearch, as well as configuration management software like Ansible and Terraform.
• Core competencies include professionalism in client interactions, reliability, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
