Description:
The Senior DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for building, operating, and supporting the infrastructure, platforms, and technology services used to deliver software and support clients at GROW Inc.
The ideal candidate will focus on implementing and managing security practices within Platforms processes, ensuring the integration of security measures throughout the software development lifecycle.
They will collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to create a secure development environment, utilizing Terraform for infrastructure-as-code (IaC), AWS cloud security features, and scripting languages for automation.
Responsibilities include identifying and improving security posture, establishing continuous security monitoring, responding to security incidents, improving monitoring, supporting engineering teams in implementing observability principles, and providing access to relevant metrics, logs, and traces.
The role also involves contributing to the improvement of Cloud (AWS) Architecture and network infrastructure, delivering automation for infrastructure and cloud, reducing manual tasks, and enhancing configuration management.
The Senior DevSecOps Engineer will participate in discovery, PoC evaluation, build or buy discussions, infrastructure and configuration delivery, support, training, incident management, and documentation contribution.
Requirements:
Expertise in Terraform, AWS, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell).
Experience in implementing security practices within software development processes.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, operations, security).
Strong knowledge of security monitoring, incident response, and observability principles.
Proficiency in cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, and configuration management.
Capability to participate in various stages of platform feature development and support.
Willingness to be part of an On-Call roster as required.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
