Description:

The DevSecOps team plays a crucial role in securing networks, operating systems, containers, pipelines, and code.
The Senior DevSecOps Engineer will advise Infra Engineering and IT teams on security topics, focusing on practical, risk-based approaches.
Responsibilities include automating security controls, hardening developer processes, managing supply chain security, and addressing cloud misconfigurations.
The role involves organizing penetration testing, collaborating with external parties, and selecting tools to enhance the company's security posture.
The engineer will write and promote company-wide security standards and mentor team members on security and IT infrastructure.
Requirements:
Candidates should demonstrate a focus on outcomes rather than activities and have experience in outcome-based delivery.
The ability to partner with multiple teams to tackle issues, clarify requirements, and communicate effectively with stakeholders is essential.
Comfort with a Linux-based tech stack, including managed VMs, SSH, VPNs, and firewalls, is required.
Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, GitLab, ArgoCD, and image registries is necessary.
Familiarity with various cloud platforms, including Google Cloud and non-managed providers, is expected.
An understanding of blockchain technology and associated tools, such as wallets and RPC nodes, is preferred.
Ideally, candidates should reside within 2 hours of UTC+0, though exceptional candidates outside this timezone may be considered.
