Description:
Second Front Systems (2F) is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to support their Security team.
The role is remote and involves working within a fast-growing entrepreneurial team focused on technology and national security.
The Cybersecurity team is responsible for securing cloud-native tools and services, emphasizing automation and customer experience.
The Senior DevSecOps Engineer will design, build, and integrate security tools for vulnerability detection, mitigation, monitoring, and response.
Responsibilities include automating processes and designing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Pulumi in Golang.
The role requires learning new skills, developing security tools, assessing risk, and contributing to a culture of diversity, innovation, and excellence.
This position is crucial for the security of the Game Warden platform and its applications.
The role requires coordination with the Principal Security Engineer and the DevSecOps Engineering Team, managing IaC, building microservices, maintaining SIEM and Security Tooling, and documenting applications and processes.
Requirements:
Candidates must be U.S. citizens due to government contract requirements.
Experience in solving complex problems and designing application logic is required.
Extensive knowledge of DevSecOps tools and software development is necessary.
Ability to create and implement incident response plans is essential.
Candidates should have knowledge of Kubernetes and networking.
A background in cybersecurity and understanding of vulnerability risk analysis is required.
Knowledge of AWS and/or Google Cloud services is necessary.
Candidates should have 3-5 years of relevant experience.
A DoD Secret Clearance is required.
Candidates must be able to attain the 8570 baseline IAT 2 Certification within 3 months of hire.
Proficiency in Golang and Infrastructure as Code is required.
