The Senior DevSecOps Engineer will design, implement, and manage security solutions across the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), focusing on automation and CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities include championing security best practices, identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities, developing security monitoring solutions, defining secure coding standards, and leading compliance initiatives.
The role requires managing multiple projects and fostering a collaborative team environment while maintaining clear and concise communication.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, Security Engineering, or a similar role with a strong focus on cloud security.
A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS services, including expertise in container orchestration and security best practices, is necessary.
At least 2 years of experience with Kubernetes, including securing clusters and deployments, is required.
Candidates should have a deep understanding of SAST, DAST, and container security solutions, as well as experience with API security testing tools.
Proven experience in vulnerability assessment, threat modeling, and remediation techniques is essential.
Experience with security incident response, including developing incident response plans, is required.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, Java, etc.) for automation and tooling is necessary.
Candidates must be proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform) and CI/CD platforms (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
