Remote Senior DevSecOps Engineer (V)

Description:

• The Senior DevSecOps Engineer will work with a US client in the life insurance industry to develop and maintain systems in enterprise data and analytics environments.
• Responsibilities include optimizing performance, building decision-making tools, and supporting software engineering, AI/ML, Cybersecurity, and DevOps/SysOps teams.
• The role involves developing deep knowledge of the client's businesses to deliver best-in-class data solutions for enterprise-wide reporting and analytics.
• The position requires independence, strong communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the flexibility to work remotely from various countries.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is required.
• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps/DevSecOps role supporting Linux servers, preferably RHEL-based.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS, Puppet, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Bitbucket.
• 1+ years of experience with Terraform configurations and container tools like Docker, ECS, and/or Kubernetes/EKS.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Ruby, Python) and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in deploying, operating, and maintaining software in production environments.
• Strong understanding of networking, routing, firewalls, and DNS in cloud and on-prem environments.
• Ability to lead large projects independently, familiarity with Atlassian products, and agile development principles.
• Excellent documentation skills and a self-motivated team player with an ownership mentality.
