Description:

  • Loopio is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Machine Learning and Data Science to lead a dynamic team of Machine Learning Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers.
  • The role involves transforming the RFP response process into a rapid and seamless experience through innovative solutions.
  • The Senior Director will report to the Chief Product Officer and collaborate closely with Senior Product Leaders and business stakeholders.
  • Responsibilities include fostering a thriving culture, product execution, and innovation within the Senior Product Leadership team.
  • The position requires leading the development of advanced automation tooling for data orchestration, evaluation, testing, monitoring, administration, and data operations.
  • The Senior Director will inspire and lead the Data Enablement team by setting clear objectives and promoting innovation.
  • The role includes creating a high-performing team and fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaborative problem-solving.
  • The Senior Director will lead the development of scalable data pipelines using Databricks and AWS technologies.
  • The position also involves building, deploying, and operating production ML models to enhance the product experience.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in leading and growing high-performing machine learning or data science teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Deep expertise in machine learning or data science is required, with demonstrable experience in advanced ML algorithms and frameworks, as well as NLP/NLU.
  • Experience in building, deploying, and operating ML/AI-powered customer-facing products at scale is essential.
  • Candidates should possess strategic problem-solving skills and the ability to align technical principles with business priorities.
  • Proficiency in distributed systems development using microservices architecture and Public Cloud platforms is necessary.
  • Prior experience in Data Warehousing and a solid understanding of Data Lake architecture and design are required.
  • Candidates must be skilled in designing and implementing cloud-based training pipelines and deep learning algorithms.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver large-scale, customer-facing, and mission-critical products in agile, high-growth B2B SaaS environments is essential.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required to articulate technical roadmaps and solutions effectively.
  • Proven ability to inspire and lead teams through complex situations is necessary.
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of cost models across multiple interdependent products is required.
  • Experience in building and maintaining large-scale systems in production environments is essential.
