Description:

  • Sinch is seeking a Senior Director of Data Warehousing to lead data initiatives and enhance data architecture.

  • The Senior Director will manage a team of data engineers and analysts, providing mentorship and fostering professional development.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 10+ years of experience in data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration, with familiarity in tools like Informatica, DBT, or Matillion considered a plus.
  • A basic understanding of enterprise data governance frameworks and committee structures is required.
  • A proven track record of interfacing with executive-level stakeholders and understanding their business needs is essential.
  • Strong proficiency with data warehousing tools and technologies such as Snowflake or Amazon Redshift is necessary.
  • Experience with SQL and data modeling techniques, including dimensional modeling, is required.
  • Candidates should have a proven track record of leading data teams and managing complex data projects.
  • Exceptional communication skills are necessary to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities are required.
  • Experience in agile methodologies and project management is preferred.
