Remote Senior Drupal Developer

Description:

• Acquia is seeking a full stack Senior Drupal Developer to join their DXP Delivery team, which focuses on optimizing customer journeys with their digital experience platform.
• The role involves working across a broad portfolio of products, services, and integrations to create a unified digital experience for customers.
• Responsibilities include designing and developing performant, object-oriented applications and APIs using PHP, contributing to system architecture discussions, and collaborating with other teams on integrations.
• The developer will create automated tests, produce comprehensive software documentation, and provide product support to internal and external stakeholders.
• The position offers autonomy over software design, architecture, and development, with opportunities to work with a wide range of technologies including Open AI, Mulesoft, Salesforce, Docebo, Okta, and AWS Bedrock.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience with PHP and 3+ years of experience with Drupal.
• A minimum of 3 years working in agile scrum environments is required.
• Applicants should have at least 1 year of experience in Next.js-14+ App Router and React Server Components (RSC).
• Familiarity with design patterns and the ability to write clean, maintainable code is essential.
• Experience in writing unit and system tests, as well as familiarity with modern CI/CD tooling including Composer, PHPCS, and PHPStan, is necessary.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for this position.
