Description:

Bixal is seeking a Senior Drupal Engineer to work remotely from anywhere in the USA.
The role involves designing, creating, unit testing, and maintaining responsive and decoupled websites with a focus on user-centered editorial experiences.
The engineer will interact with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, leading the engineering team to meet business needs.
Responsibilities include creating efficient databases, recognizing system deficiencies, implementing solutions, and integrating system software.
The engineer will collaborate with the devops team on web server configuration and manage configuration settings.
Additional duties include developing and maintaining custom Drupal modules and themes, debugging, optimizing, and managing problem-solving in Drupal environments.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in web design and development, including mobile and responsive design.
Experience with enterprise-decoupled Drupal architecture and configuration is required.
Candidates should be familiar with the software development lifecycle, Agile methodology, and best practices in coding and testing.
Proficiency in building decoupled Drupal CMS platforms and experience with Content Management System design and integration is necessary.
Strong skills in implementing solutions in Drupal 10 using various modules are essential.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and CI/CD pipeline development is required.
Candidates must have experience with Git, unit testing, and current web technologies such as Docker, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, PHP, and APIs.
Knowledge of usability/accessibility standards for user interface development is important.
Candidates must be able to undergo and pass a Public Trust security clearance.
