Description:

Koombea is seeking a Senior Elixir Developer to join their development team in a remote position across various LATAM countries.
The primary responsibility is to build application models and code the logic behind user-facing components and databases, focusing on performance, usability, accessibility, and adaptability.
Key tasks include integrating user-facing elements with server-side logic, building reusable code and libraries, optimizing applications for speed and scalability, implementing security and data protection measures, and designing data storage solutions.
The developer will also be involved in developing scalable architectures, ensuring optimized performance, implementing best practices, participating in agile development processes, reviewing and maintaining codebases, and deploying web applications to staging and production environments.

Requirements:

Candidates must have proficient knowledge of a back-end programming language or frameworks, particularly Elixir/Phoenix, with additional experience in node.js and Ruby on Rails being a plus.
Experience working with Scrum Teams is required.
A proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, is necessary.
Candidates should have a good understanding of data structures and basic algorithms, as well as architectural patterns and microservices.
Experience with GraphQL APIs and testing frameworks is a plus.
A good understanding of the Linux command line is required.
Basic experience in building semantic and accessible HTML and CSS, as well as working with JavaScript, is necessary.
An advanced level of English is required.
