Remote Senior Engineer

Description:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services focusing on integrating the Shopify platform into the company's ecosystem
• Utilize advanced JavaScript and TypeScript skills for front-end and back-end development
• Integrate Shopify e-commerce platform using Shopify's Storefront API and Hydrogen framework
• Develop server-side logic with Node.js and manage serverless functions and cloud-based deployments
• Apply Tailwind CSS for efficient and responsive styling and optimize build processes with Vite
• Implement unit and end-to-end tests, integrate various APIs and third-party services
• Collaborate with teams to architect scalable integration solutions and monitor performance
• Stay updated on e-commerce technology, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior team members

Requirements:

• 5+ years of full stack development experience
• Strong understanding of modern JavaScript and TypeScript
• Proficiency in React, GraphQL, Node.js, Tailwind CSS, Vite, and Git
• Ability to work with APIs, testing frameworks, and Shopify platform
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Availability to work Mon-Fri, 5am-2pm

Nice to Have:

• Experience with headless CMS platforms
• Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment pipelines
• Understanding of SEO best practices for headless commerce setups
