Description:
The company is a Digital Product Engineering company that builds products, services, and experiences across all devices and digital mediums.
They are looking for a Senior Engineer to join their team remotely in Mexico.
The role involves hands-on experience in test case authoring, defect logging and management, manual testing, STLC, mobile testing, test planning and strategy, test reporting, test reviews, test estimation, testing KPIs, and test monitoring and control.
Responsibilities include contributing to preparing testing and overall game plan for major feature rollouts or content migration projects, managing content updating on SPO/CMS sites, understanding customer requirements, backlog grooming, prioritization, managing requirement traceability, identifying areas of improvement, engaging in knowledge management, continuous service improvement, automation, and periodic reporting.
The role also involves troubleshooting, analytical skills, learning capabilities on different tech stacks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, strong interpersonal and communication skills, working in shifts as required, and providing extended support when needed.
Good to have skills include knowledge of ITSM tools, ITIL module, Critical Incident Management processes, Change Management, and Problem Management processes.
Requirements:
Hands-on experience in test case authoring, defect logging and management, manual testing, STLC, mobile testing, test planning and strategy, and test reporting.
Experience in test reviews, test estimation, testing KPIs, and test monitoring and control.
Proficiency in JIRA, Test Rail, and managing content updating on SPO/CMS sites.
Ability to understand customer requirements, convert them to user stories with acceptance criteria, backlog grooming, and prioritization.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Self-organized with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Flexibility to work in shifts and provide extended support when required.
Good to have skills: knowledge of ITSM tools, ITIL module, Critical Incident Management processes, Change Management, and Problem Management processes.
