Description:
Mable is seeking a Senior Engineer with expertise in Ruby on Rails and familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly Angular.
The role involves taking on significant technical responsibilities, mentoring junior team members, and actively contributing to team discussions on design.
Responsibilities include developing scalable and user-friendly products, owning the designing, coding, testing, and verification activities, and generating detailed documentation of processes.
The Senior Engineer will respond to customer feedback, fix defects, apply best practices in development, and mentor other team members.
They will focus mainly on the frontend, work with UX/UI designers and QA to ensure high accessibility standards, and help produce consistent and high-quality code.
The position also involves working with a cross-functional team in an agile environment, translating static designs/interactive prototypes into Angular, and leaving the code in a better state than found.
Requirements:
Extensive experience with at least one major JavaScript framework, with a preference for Angular.
Experience in a Hybrid mobile framework like Ionic is a plus.
Proficiency in implementing responsive applications on the web and translating static designs/interactive prototypes into Angular.
Comfortable working in an agile environment with a cross-functional team.
Passion for mentoring and coaching junior Engineers.
Excellent communication skills, team-oriented mindset, and a commitment to improving code quality.
