Description:

  • Mable is seeking a Senior Engineer with expertise in Ruby on Rails and familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly Angular.
  • The role involves taking on significant technical responsibilities, mentoring junior team members, and actively contributing to team discussions on design.
  • Responsibilities include developing scalable and user-friendly products, owning the designing, coding, testing, and verification activities, and generating detailed documentation of processes.
  • The Senior Engineer will respond to customer feedback, fix defects, apply best practices in development, and mentor other team members.
  • They will focus mainly on the frontend, work with UX/UI designers and QA to ensure high accessibility standards, and help produce consistent and high-quality code.
  • The position also involves working with a cross-functional team in an agile environment, translating static designs/interactive prototypes into Angular, and leaving the code in a better state than found.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with at least one major JavaScript framework, with a preference for Angular.
  • Experience in a Hybrid mobile framework like Ionic is a plus.
  • Proficiency in implementing responsive applications on the web and translating static designs/interactive prototypes into Angular.
  • Comfortable working in an agile environment with a cross-functional team.
  • Passion for mentoring and coaching junior Engineers.
  • Excellent communication skills, team-oriented mindset, and a commitment to improving code quality.
