Remote Senior Engineer

• Snappt, a well-funded tech startup, is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to work remotely.
• The ideal candidate will have a background in building and operating frontend components and applications using Typescript/React.
• They should also have experience integrating AWS services such as ECS, SQS, SNS, Lambda, and database development with PostgreSQL.
• The Senior Engineer will collaborate with the product engineering and operations team to deliver value-focused solutions.
• Snappt's platform uses a proprietary algorithm to detect tampered or altered documents, helping property managers and owners avoid costly evictions.

• The Senior Engineer will demonstrate craftsmanship across multiple engineering disciplines, including Software, Data, Infrastructure, Quality, and more.
• They should be proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript, Elixir, Node.js, React.js, Redux, Webpack, Jest, CSS, and various design patterns and architectures.
• The role requires aligning with team values, creating processes to increase effectiveness, and continuously improving craftsmanship in various competencies.
• Relevant technical domain knowledge includes competencies in web client development, server/API development, SQL and NoSQL data access, and infrastructure and operations crafts.
• Business domain knowledge in property management systems and product engineering tools like JIRA and Confluence is valuable.
• Snappt is a remote-first organization, offering a salary range of $140,000-$190,000 annually.
