Description:
Redox is on a mission to accelerate healthcare’s transformation with useful data through a full-service integration platform.
The platform enables secure and efficient exchange of healthcare data across a network of over 7,300 provider organizations and 240 healthcare products.
The transaction processing team is composed of passionate individuals who solve complex problems at scale.
Team members will design, write, review, and ship code into production through CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities include supporting, maintaining, and eventually decommissioning systems created by the team.
The team values adaptability, learning, and problem-solving in new areas.
Job responsibilities include leading technical design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of engineering initiatives.
Collaborate with team members to ensure stability and speed in the transaction processing pipeline.
Work with event streaming architectures and relational databases.
Focus on solving complex, high-volume transaction processing challenges while caring about latency and customer experience.
Embrace a DevOps culture and take ownership of the team’s systems.
Participate in on-call rotations and shared engineering responsibilities.
Code in NodeJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript within a microservices environment.
Troubleshoot production issues as they arise.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
Strong experience in backend engineering, including building APIs and working with databases, is required.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and work well with stakeholders is essential.
Experience in building maintainable, well-tested, and highly resilient systems and features is necessary.
Full-cycle SDLC experience covering requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and support is required.
