Description:

Quantum Metric is seeking a Senior Engineer specializing in C++ to join their Platform services team.
The primary focus will be on the ingestion system, which is critical to the company's stack.
Responsibilities include adding new features, fixing bugs, and improving performance and scalability of the ingestion system.
The role also involves assisting the team in building the platform that enhances the Quantum experience.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience in C++.
Experience with high throughput ingest/data systems is required.
Knowledge of databases, particularly BigQuery, is necessary.
Familiarity with cloud computing is essential.
Nice to have: Experience with Golang, message queues (e.g., Kafka, Pulsar), and familiarity with GCP and its products.
