Jobgether is seeking a Senior Engineer: C++ to join the Platform Services team in the United States.
The role focuses on optimizing and scaling the ingestion platform, which is a critical component of the system.
Responsibilities include enhancing performance, adding new features, and ensuring the platform can handle larger data volumes at greater speeds.
The Senior Engineer will collaborate closely with the Chief Architect to drive platform growth and address evolving product needs.
The position requires a creative problem solver who embraces innovation and values constant learning.
Key accountabilities include enhancing the ingestion system, collaborating with product and engineering teams, troubleshooting issues, contributing to additional platform services, and working with modern technologies to ensure scalability and efficiency.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience with C++.
Expertise in high throughput data systems, particularly in the ingestion and processing of large volumes of data, is required.
Strong database knowledge is necessary, with experience in BigQuery or similar systems.
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services is essential.
Experience with message queues, such as Kafka or Pulsar, is a plus.
Proficiency in Golang is beneficial but not required.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) products is considered a bonus.
