Description:

The position is for a Senior Software Engineer specializing in computer vision, located in Den Bosch, with options for remote work in the Netherlands.
The role involves collaborating closely with the Machine Learning team to enhance AI-powered cameras.
Responsibilities include working on image quality optimization, multi-camera calibration and stitching, 3D projection, object detection and tracking, AI model integration in hardware, and video rendering and encoding.
The engineer will develop and optimize computer vision algorithms for Hudl’s smart Focus cameras.
The role requires enhancing image quality through sensor and lens assessments, ISP tuning, and optimizing software performance for embedded platforms.

Requirements:

Candidates must have several years of experience in developing computer vision applications, particularly in embedded C++ and Linux environments.
Proficiency in image processing, video manipulation, multi-camera systems, and optimization on edge platforms like NVIDIA, Qualcomm, or Ambarella is required.
The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of bringing complex features to production and working closely with Data Scientists and other stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills are necessary, with an emphasis on applying rigorous methodologies to develop, test, and validate algorithms.
