Description:
The Senior Engineer, Customer Solutions at Gretel will play a crucial role in the post-sales process, focusing on integration and implementation by providing technical support to both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities include evaluating current and future tooling for customer support, troubleshooting customer issues, writing custom configurations, and ensuring operational transparency and resiliency in deployed applications.
The role involves collaborating with pre-sales engineering, defining and prioritizing projects with engineering and product leads, and providing technical leadership and mentorship.
The position requires at least 5 years of experience in software development, DevOps, or site reliability engineering, with expertise in scalable, API-based architectures and direct customer support.
Preferred qualifications include experience with Python and/or Go, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Kubernetes, data engineering, and remote work in a distributed company.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development, DevOps, or site reliability engineering.
At least 3 years of experience with scalable, API-based architectures.
At least 3 years of direct customer support experience.
Proficiency in agile development methodologies.
Experience leading the delivery of large-scale distributed systems.
Strong communication skills for interacting with customers.
Benefits:
Competitive compensation ranging from $170,000 to $200,000 USD for Senior Solutions Engineer and $190,000 to $220,000 USD for Staff Solutions Engineer.
