Description:

We are seeking a Senior Engineer (DevOps) to join our Platform Engineering team, suitable for individuals who excel in fast-paced environments and enjoy tackling infrastructure challenges at scale.
The role involves treating internal platforms like products, focusing on velocity.
You will be responsible for designing, building, and operating the infrastructure and tooling that support NetBox Labs.
Key tasks include infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and observability systems to create reliable foundations for software delivery.
Responsibilities include maintaining infrastructure systems for SaaS and internal engineering needs, optimizing AWS and cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency, security, and performance.
You will contribute to internal platform tooling, CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions, and enhance observability and incident response systems.
Collaboration with product teams to understand their needs and improve internal platforms is essential.
You will help enforce security and compliance standards, contribute to documentation and onboarding materials, and participate in on-call rotations.
Mentoring and sharing knowledge with team members to elevate overall expertise is also part of the role.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles.
A minimum of 2+ years of experience at a B2B software startup is required.
Strong experience with AWS services, particularly EKS/Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Helm, is essential.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling, ideally GitHub Actions, is necessary.
Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Loki is required.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or shell scripting is needed.
Candidates should be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
Strong communication and documentation skills are essential for this position.
