Description:
The project involves working on Nomos, a sovereign, modular, zk-encrypted network of blockchains that serves as the trustless agreements layer of the Logos stack.
As a Senior Engineer, you will implement designs specified by the Nomos research team and contribute to the design of new protocol solutions.
Your responsibilities include designing, specifying, and building distributed systems, as well as creating proof of concepts to explore implementation solutions.
You will develop production-ready code and optimizations, and are expected to understand research papers to evaluate, adapt, and implement their findings.
The role will keep you updated with emerging ideas in blockchain, p2p networks, distributed systems, cryptography, Zero-Knowledge proofs, and MPC.
You may also conduct theoretical and practical performance analysis of the systems and present your results.
Requirements:
You must have coding experience in Rust, which is a mandatory requirement for this role.
Experience in complex Distributed Systems in production is required, preferably in byzantine settings (blockchain) or similar, or in cloud computing systems with advanced Rust knowledge.
A strong background in Computer Science and Math, or a related area, is essential.
You should be a keen communicator, eager to share your work in various contexts, including internal and public presentations.
A strong interest in privacy, censorship-resistant technology, and open protocols is necessary.
