Remote Senior Engineer (Full Stack)

Description:

• Saaf Finance, an innovative startup, is disrupting the mortgage and real estate industry by automating loan data extraction and verification using cutting-edge AI.
• The Senior Engineer (Full Stack) will design, develop, and maintain software for mortgage-related processes, collaborate with different teams, and contribute to the engineering strategy.
• The role involves creating scalable systems, fostering a security-first mindset, breaking down projects into manageable tasks, and encouraging knowledge sharing and collaboration.
• The engineer will work closely with the founding team, who have extensive Wall Street experience, to shape the technical trajectory and cultural fabric of the company.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• 3+ years of experience with Frontend Javascript frameworks like React, Angular, or similar.
• 3+ years of experience with NodeJS.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering preferred.
• Experience designing and managing databases (Postgres, Mongo, MySQL).
• Deep understanding of AWS infrastructure and services.
• Experience with Terraform is preferred.
• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
• Proven experience leading a team or architecting a large-scale enterprise product.
• Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-driven with a strong work ethic and a passion for excellence.
• Knowledge of design patterns, data structures, distributed systems, and machine learning.
• Prior early-stage startup experience is highly preferred.
