Saaf Finance, an innovative startup, is disrupting the mortgage and real estate industry by automating loan data extraction and verification using cutting-edge AI.
The Senior Engineer (Full Stack) will design, develop, and maintain software for mortgage-related processes, collaborate with different teams, and contribute to the engineering strategy.
The role involves creating scalable systems, fostering a security-first mindset, breaking down projects into manageable tasks, and encouraging knowledge sharing within the team.
The engineer will work closely with the founding team, who have extensive Wall Street experience, to shape the technical trajectory and cultural fabric of the company.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer.
3+ years of experience with Frontend Javascript frameworks like React, Angular, or similar.
3+ years of experience with NodeJS.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering preferred.
Experience designing and managing databases (Postgres, Mongo, MySQL).
Deep understanding of AWS infrastructure and services.
Experience with Terraform preferred.
Solid understanding of the software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
Proven experience leading a team or architecting a large-scale enterprise product.
Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-driven with a strong work ethic and a passion for excellence.
Knowledge of design patterns, data structures, distributed systems, and machine learning.
Prior early-stage startup experience highly preferred.
