Description:
As a Senior Engineer at Hardsuit Labs, you will collaborate with Engineers, Designers, Artists, and Producers to design and implement new systems for content developers and third-party partners.
You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing systems to meet design, technical, and schedule requirements.
Providing guidance and supervision to junior staff, enforcing coding standards, and reviewing technical and end-user documentation are part of your responsibilities.
You will work closely with QA and technical leadership to ensure system stability and accuracy.
Your role involves collaborating with production staff to establish schedules, identify dependencies, and coordinate successful roll-outs of new features.
Proficiency in C++, Unreal Engine, and 3D math is required, along with the ability to write optimized and thread-safe code.
Strong communication skills, cross-discipline collaboration, and the ability to receive and act upon feedback are essential for this position.
Requirements:
7+ years of professional software development experience, with 3+ years in a team environment.
4 years of professional experience with C++ and 2+ years with Unreal Engine.
Extensive experience in multiple code bases and debugging tools.
Ability to discuss technical proposals, provide time estimates, and write optimized, thread-safe code.
Strong collaboration skills, adherence to coding standards, and willingness to receive feedback.
Expert knowledge in 3D math and the ability to navigate through ambiguity.
