Remote Senior Engineer - Game Development

Description:

• As a Senior Engineer at Hardsuit Labs, you will collaborate with Engineers, Designers, Artists, and Producers to design and implement extensions to existing systems and new systems for content developers and external partners.
• You will be responsible for maintaining robust and optimized systems, ensuring stability and accuracy by identifying and resolving defects, and providing technical documentation.
• Working closely with QA and technical leadership, you will contribute to establishing technical design and architecture, realistic schedules, and successful roll-out of new features.
• You will work independently on high-impact tasks, provide guidance to junior staff, enforce coding standards through peer reviews, and assist team members with tools setup and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, with 3+ years in a team environment.
• 4 years of C++ experience, 2+ years with Unreal Engine, and extensive experience in multiple code bases.
• Ability to discuss technical proposals, provide time estimates, write optimized and thread-safe code, navigate ambiguity, collaborate cross-discipline, and adhere to project coding standards.
• Strong communication skills, expertise in 3D math, and experience using debugging tools.
• Willingness to receive feedback and act upon it.
