The Senior Engineer will have a strong understanding of payment platforms and the ability to optimize them for efficiency, security, and performance.
Responsibilities include contributing to all aspects of the software process, providing technical input for new products, implementing scalable web-facing solutions, designing and maintaining APIs, collaborating across teams, resolving bug fixes, and building automation tools.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of software engineering experience, focusing on payment platforms and optimization.
A minimum of 3+ years of experience with Python, Ruby, Java, or Go; Python and Django experience is a huge plus.
Candidates should have 3+ years of experience working with payment processors or building gateways for payment processors.
Experience in building apps in a secure and PCI-compliant environment is required.
A solid understanding of building streaming systems that produce large quantities of immutable, auditable data at scale is necessary.
Candidates should have experience participating in the design and architecture of projects.
Self-directed and self-motivated individuals comfortable working with diverse teams are preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Experience with AWS or other cloud services is required.
