Remote Senior Engineer - Platform

Description:

• Join Team Ocelot in the Infrastructure Cluster as a Senior Engineer at ClearBank.
• Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure platform using Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, and GitOps.
• Collaborate with Technical Product Owners and Engineering Managers to shape the next-generation internal platform.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of self-service and continuous improvement.
• Work on exploring and adopting new technologies and practices.
• Participate in retrospectives, planning, and stand-ups.
• Be part of the on-call support rota.

Requirements:

• Hands-on knowledge of ClearBank platform technology stack including Terraform, Azure cloud services, Kubernetes, Helm, Azure DevOps Yaml pipeline, and Docker.
• Experience with GitOps methodologies and tooling.
• Previous experience in a Platform environment with a product-first mindset.
• Proactive problem, incident, and risk management approach.
• Strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, event-driven architecture, and related patterns.

Desirable skills and experience:

• Software development experience in C# (.Net) and Golang.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies.
• Background in working in financial services.
