Description:
Culture Amp is seeking a Senior Engineer to join their Sales Experience Team in Sydney.
The team focuses on delivering value to sellers and enabling successful product demonstrations through curated data narratives.
The role involves adding capabilities to curate sales narratives using Google’s Vertex AI and collaborating with product teams to seed demo data using various toolsets like AWS Step functions, Kafka, and Rails.
The engineering practice is inclusive, distributed across cross-functional Agile teams, and supports remote-friendly and flexible work arrangements.
Responsibilities include writing clean, scalable, and testable code as a Full-Stack Engineer, sharing knowledge through documentation and coaching, collaborating with other engineers, maintaining and supporting services, and ensuring system security and observability.
Requirements:
Experience with Ruby is essential; candidates should have used it professionally and be eager to grow their expertise.
Experience with React is highly regarded but not mandatory.
Candidates should have experience in building web-based software applications and a solid understanding of engineering concepts such as scalability, security, and maintenance.
Knowledge of AWS is highly desirable but not essential.
Candidates should have experience in evolving existing systems to enhance simplicity, observability, and maintainability.
A collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn and share knowledge with the team are crucial.
Candidates should be self-motivated, able to work independently, and take initiative in their work.
