Remote Senior Engineering Manager, Dashboards Team

Description:

• Lead the Dashboards team to develop state-of-the-art content for Sumo Logic customers, providing insights on operations and security.
• Responsible for building scalable, cost-efficient, and highly available backend log query services for Sumo Logic Dashboards.
• Collaborate with front-end and back-end engineers to ensure consistent product experiences.
• Define and execute the roadmap by working with partners in Product, Design, and Operations.
• Maintain development roadmaps, lead agile development practices, and ensure world-class team performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of developer + manager experience with 5+ years managing/leading development teams.
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, Golang, Javascript/Typescript, and React for full-stack web solutions.
• Knowledge of Microservice architectures/distributed systems, with AWS experience as a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to work through ambiguous requirements, and make decisions to drive progress.
• Mastery of Agile processes, continuous integration, and test automation.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with various stakeholders.
