Remote Senior Engineering Manager, SRE & DevOps

Description:

• Array is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for SRE & DevOps to lead a maturing SRE team and optimize the hybrid infrastructure.
• The role involves managing an existing team of infrastructure engineers embedded in information security and supporting their career development.
• Responsibilities include developing engineering leaders, ensuring a high technical bar, creating effective roadmaps, and coordinating execution across teams.
• The Senior Engineering Manager will work on increasing reliability uptime, creating observability and testing strategies, and optimizing a hybrid infrastructure that includes Onprem, GCP, AWS, and Azure.
• The position reports to the Vice President of Information Security.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience as an engineering manager in startup environments.
• Strong ability to hire and develop high-caliber talent, especially in engineering leadership roles.
• Passion for implementing efficient business processes to enhance velocity, quality, and reliability.
• Experience scaling engineering teams in a SaaS environment with a hybrid infrastructure.
• Proficiency in architecting complex, performant, and reliable distributed systems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and high empathy level.
