Description:

  • The Senior Enterprise Data Architect will identify the data needs of the organization and design and maintain blueprints to assist in data integration, control of data assets, and alignment of data investments with business strategy.
  • Responsibilities include documenting multiple architectural models that show how current and future organizational needs will be met efficiently and sustainably.
  • The role involves creating and evolving technology road maps that define company data architectures and enable a solid data strategy.
  • The architect will ensure data solutions are built for performance, fault tolerance, and security with reusable patterns.
  • Developing and sharing best practices for knowledge and data discovery to deliver impactful data-driven decision support systems is essential.
  • The position requires forming and defining best practices for change management, source control, and deployment methodologies for big data solutions.
  • Identifying and enabling data capabilities across the company and designing integrations with other data sources are key tasks.
  • The architect will research, analyze, and promote data standards to be used across the company and lead standards discussions among big data engineers and data scientists.
  • Responsibilities also include architecting data solutions, identifying build vs. buy strategies regarding technology, and identifying performance trends to improve processes.
  • The role requires partnering with the business to deliver road maps and working with the team to build a holistic view of the company's strategy and information technology assets.
  • The architect will define best practices and internal guidelines, research new technologies, mentor team members, and capture program metrics.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Candidates must have at least 15 years of experience in relevant fields.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in database administration, application development, data integration, data modeling, and data management is necessary.
  • Candidates should have 7 years of experience with relational data modeling, big data modeling, conceptual data modeling, and logical data modeling.
  • At least 5 years of experience with system architecture and normalization considerations is required.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture modeling languages or frameworks such as ArchiMate, TOGAF, SOA, or CMMI is essential.
  • Candidates must have experience with event streaming architecture patterns to design and implement real-time data processing systems.
  • Key requirements include proficiency in Snowflake, MuleSoft, Informatica, Gainsight, and Salesforce.
  • Experience in data modeling, master data management, data lineage and governance, data lifecycle management, ETL/ELT processes and tools, data profiling and cleansing, data matching and deduplication, and customer 360 is also required.
