Description:
We are looking for a Senior Erlang Engineer with solid experience in distributed, highly concurrent, and fault-tolerant backend systems.
This is an opportunity to join a high-level technical team focused on developing robust, scalable, and efficient services.
Responsibilities include designing and developing robust, scalable, and fault-tolerant backend systems using Erlang/OTP.
You will apply architectural principles to ensure efficiency, concurrency, and resilience.
The role involves designing and implementing messaging and event mechanisms with Redis, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
You will optimize process management in Erlang, ensuring efficient resource usage.
Implementing architectures based on actor model, message passing, and event-driven design is required.
You will integrate protocols such as WebSockets, TCP, UDP, gRPC, or SCTP.
Maintaining and improving environments with Docker and Linux is part of the job.
Participation in distributed architectures with Kubernetes is desirable.
You will conduct load testing and performance diagnostics.
Collaborating with infrastructure and DevOps teams to improve deployments and availability is expected.
Documenting architectures and technical decisions is also part of your responsibilities.
Requirements:
You must have more than 5 years of experience developing with Erlang/OTP.
Experience in high concurrency and low latency backend systems is required.
Solid knowledge of distributed software architecture is necessary.
Experience with Redis, Kafka, or RabbitMQ is essential.
You should have experience integrating protocols such as TCP, UDP, SCTP, WebSockets, and gRPC.
Experience with containers (Docker) and managing Linux environments is required.
Knowledge in monitoring and optimizing distributed systems is necessary.
You must have the ability to solve complex problems in concurrent environments.
