Description:

Olsson's Facility Engineering and Design Team is seeking a Senior Federal Fire Protection Engineer to work on challenging and impactful projects in fire protection design.
The role involves developing and implementing cutting-edge fire protection systems for various environments, focusing on efficiency and safety.
The engineer will navigate and adhere to federal and local safety regulations, demonstrating proficiency in regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities include leading collaborative efforts on major projects, mentoring junior engineers, and staying updated with advancements in fire protection technology.
The position allows for remote work or can be based out of any Olsson office.

Requirements:

Candidates must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
A Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
Applicants must be a licensed Fire Protection Engineer (FPE).
A minimum of eight years of engineering experience in Fire Protection is necessary.
Demonstrated experience in federal projects is essential.
Experience in healthcare or data centers is considered a plus.
Familiarity with REVIT software is also a plus.
