emerchantpay is a leading global payment service provider and acquirer for online, mobile, in-store, and over-the-phone payments.

The role is for a full-time Senior Front-End Developer with experience in developing and designing complex web-based applications.
Ruby on Rails experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Responsibilities include designing and developing innovative web front-end applications/components and actively communicating and cooperating with system analysts, back-end developers, and QA teams.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in modern web applications development using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Experience with mobile and responsive layouts is required.
The ability to write standards-compliant code that works across various browsers is essential.
Candidates must be highly proficient in spoken and written English.
The ideal candidate should be an enthusiastic, hard-working, and motivated team player with excellent communication skills.
Additional skills considered advantageous include web performance/optimization skills, hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, React with Redux), single-page applications (SPA), knowledge of Ruby and RoR server-side development, and previous experience in the payment industry.
