Remote Senior Front End Developer

Requirements:

• You must design and implement highly visible user-facing features and applications.
• You should deploy testable front-end code with performance, maintainability, and scale in mind.
• You need to collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to prototype and implement features.
• Participation in code reviews is required, where you will listen to feedback while sharing your knowledge with other team members.
• You will routinely test the website for ease of use and optimize applications for maximum speed.
• You must design and deploy features that are accessible across platforms including mobile and desktop.
• Collaboration with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability is essential.
• You should ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency.
• Staying up-to-date on emerging technologies is expected.
• You will work with data engineers to improve software and business intelligence.
• Active participation in all sprint ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, is required.
• You must have 5+ years of proven work experience as a successful Front-end developer.
• Experience with JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, React.JS, Jest, jQuery, AJAX, and Bootstrap is necessary.
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging for continuous improvement and operational excellence is required.
• You should have an in-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment) and demonstrated success working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• You need to be analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to translate user needs into functional and appealing interactive applications.
• An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision is essential.
• Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities, as is common in startup environments, is necessary.
• A “hacker mentality” where you find ways to figure things out is expected.
• A BS degree in Computer Science or a relevant field or equivalent experience is required.
• Experience with React Native and Angular is a plus, but not required.
