Remote Senior Front End Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Front End Engineer at Cybrary will be responsible for designing and implementing new systems and features, as well as modifying and maintaining existing systems to adapt to business and technology changes.
• They will work closely with other teams and vendors to ensure successful design, development, and delivery of technology-based solutions.
• Responsibilities include developing, supporting, and maintaining application service layer using PHP/Laravel, client software using React/Next.js, contributing to architectural discussions, performing code reviews, providing production support, assisting with testing and security, and integrating 3rd party products.
• The role involves driving software change and release management processes to enhance the software development lifecycle maturity.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of JavaScript production-facing front-end development experience.
• Proficiency in functional and class-based React components, Next.js 13+, App router, Tailwind CSS, and global state management solutions (MobX/React context).
• Experience with PHP/SQL, specifically Laravel framework, and occasional direct work in SQL (Postgres/MySQL).
• Strong understanding of git, GitHub, oAuth, SSO integrations, testing, security best practices, and application architecture.
• Familiarity with React Native and DevOps is a plus.
• Ability to effectively communicate and lead cross-functional teams.
