Remote Senior Front-End Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Front-End Engineer position at StrongDM involves technical design and implementation of all front-end interfaces (web and desktop).
• Collaboration with product and design teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Working with server and backend teams to ensure secure and performant API request/response shapes.
• Optimizing performance of real-time, high object count web interfaces.
• Solving complex problems with elegant solutions.

Requirements:

• Must have 5+ years of experience building user experiences with modern web technologies in a high-rigor engineering environment.
• Deep understanding of React v18+, GraphQL, HTTP Request Lifecycle, and Typescript.
• Familiarity with cross-platform desktop and mobile techniques, including Electron.
• Preferably have Node.JS server-side experience using Express.JS, Hapi, or similar.
• Experience with React Server Components and React Frameworks like Remix or Next.JS is beneficial.
• React Native experience is a plus.
• Strong product and design sense with a passion for coding.
• Proficiency in testing tools like Vitest and Playwright.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration and problem-solving.
