Description:

The Senior Front End Engineer is responsible for creating clean, efficient, standards-compliant HTML, CSS, and JavaScript across a wide range of websites and web applications.
This role involves handling the most complex tasks alongside the Lead and requires minimal assistance when working on large or complex modules or problems.
The engineer is expected to be a self-starter and efficient with front-end technologies.
Responsibilities include managing Front End projects of any size and complexity, delivering projects on time and on budget, and evaluating frameworks and tools for relevance to projects.
The engineer will work closely with team members from various departments and utilize AI development tools to enhance coding efficiency.
Staying current with emerging technologies and tools is essential, as is managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
The engineer will write the majority of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript based on prototypes and designs, collaborate with back-end engineers, and maintain and fix bugs across multiple projects.
The role also includes reviewing project documentation, identifying potential project risks, performing smoke tests, and developing features.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years in similar roles and 3+ years working with React.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required, along with a track record of successful project delivery.
Experience with SASS, SCSS, and knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, particularly React, is essential.
Familiarity with source control systems like GIT and proficiency with AI-enhanced development tools is necessary.
Candidates should have experience with cloud services such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Strong understanding of web development standards, best practices, and experience in developing large-scale websites and web applications is required.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills, along with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, are important.
