Description:
The Senior Front End Engineer is responsible for creating clean, efficient, standards-compliant HTML, CSS, and JavaScript across a wide range of websites and web applications.
The role involves handling complex tasks alongside the Lead and requires minimal assistance when working on large or complex modules or problems.
The engineer must be a self-starter and efficient with front-end technologies.
Responsibilities include managing any size and complexity of front-end projects, delivering projects on time and on budget, and evaluating frameworks and tools for relevance to projects.
The engineer will work closely with team members from various departments and utilize AI development tools to enhance coding efficiency.
Staying current with emerging technologies and tools is essential, as is managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
The engineer will write the majority of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript based on prototypes and designs, collaborate with back-end engineers, and maintain and fix bugs across multiple projects.
The role requires performing smoke tests on various devices and browsers and developing features.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years in similar roles and 3+ years working with React.
Agency experience is preferred, along with proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
A track record of successful project delivery, including experience with AI-powered tools like Cursor and GitHub Copilot, is required.
Candidates should have experience evaluating and implementing front-end technologies, particularly React, and a strong understanding of web development standards and best practices.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git and modern web development tools is necessary.
Previous experience in developing large-scale websites and web applications is essential.
Nice to have skills include GraphQL, Sitecore or other enterprise CMS experience, Tailwind and/or Bootstrap experience, NextJS, and NodeJS.
Strong collaboration skills, effective interpersonal and communication skills, and good judgment are important.
